COURSE: The course will be between four (4) and six (6) miles in length. Course is, by nature, going to vary from year to year and by weather conditions.

REGISTRATION: Day-of-race signup and packet pickup for pre-registered runners will begin at 9 am. in Cabin #3 near the Waterworks area at Presque Isle. There are heated restrooms nearby at the lifeguard headquarters building.

AWARDS: This is a time-prediction run. You will be asked to predict your pace-per-mile, based on the road and weather conditions that morning, and we will calculate your predicted finishing time. Those participants who finish the run in a time closest to their prediction will receive a choice from a delicious selection of chocolate awards. Racewalkers are welcome to compete. (For the sake of fairness, you are asked to refrain from wearing a watch or other timing or pacing device.)

Note: The race will take place as scheduled regardless of the weather, with one exception: the race will be postponed if Presque Isle State Park is closed by park authorities for any reason. Since this is always a possibility, you should call the ERC club phone (814-452-1023) the morning of the race if you have any doubt about the race being held. An announcement will be on the answering machine advising on the race status that morning.

RACE PREMIUM: The optional race premium is a top-quality, long-sleeved T-shirt. You must pre-register to be guaranteed a shirt. Orders will be taken for additional shirts on race day. Postmark deadline for pre-registration is Saturday, February 2nd.
